Analytics & Marketing Pixels

Overview

Understanding how users interact with your age gate is crucial for optimizing your store's conversion rate. The Age Verification Analytics dashboard provides a beautiful, real-time look at your traffic, while our built-in Marketing Pixels allow you to build highly profitable retargeting audiences.

1. Key Performance Metrics

At the top of the dashboard, you will find four critical metrics that summarize your age gate's performance over the Last 7 Days:

  • Total Views: The total number of times the age verification popup successfully rendered on a visitor's screen.

  • Pass Rate: The percentage of visitors who successfully verified their age and entered your website. A low pass rate may indicate your age limit is too high for your current traffic source.

  • Fails / Underage: The number of users who explicitly failed the verification (e.g., entered a date of birth that was too young, or clicked "No").

  • Drop-offs (Abandoned): The number of users who saw the popup but left your website entirely without interacting with it.

2. Interactive Traffic Trends

The Traffic & Verification Trends chart provides a visual representation of your data. It plots your Views (Purple), Passes (Green), and Fails (Red) on an interactive daily timeline. You can hover over specific data points to see the exact numbers for that day, helping you correlate traffic spikes with recent marketing campaigns.

3. Marketing & Conversion Pixels

If you run paid ads on Google or Facebook, you only want to spend your retargeting budget on adults who are legally allowed to purchase your products.

  • Google Analytics (GA4) Tracking: When enabled, the plugin automatically fires a native age_gate_passed event directly into your GA4 account the moment a user successfully verifies. You can use this event to track conversion funnels. (Note: Requires your site to already have the standard Google tag installed).

  • Meta (Facebook) Pixel Integration: When enabled, the plugin sends a custom AgeGatePassed event to your Meta Pixel. This is incredibly powerful—you can instantly build custom audiences inside Facebook Ads comprised only of verified adults, ensuring your retargeting ads are razor-sharp and fully compliant.
